Matthew Smith, CPA/ABV, CVA, CFF

Matthew Smith began his career with Smith, Stohlman, James & Gardere, P.A. in 1998 and currently serves as Shareholder and Co-Managing Director of the firm. He also serves as Co-Manager of the firm’s affiliated wealth management and investment advisory practice, Poinciana Advisors Group, LLC.

Matt specializes in forensic accounting, business valuation, litigation support, and high-net-worth marital dissolution matters. He has testified in courts throughout South Florida and holds advanced credentials in valuation and financial forensics, including CPA, ABV, CFF, and CVA designations.


He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of North Florida and previously played Division I baseball at Mercer University.
