Keith E. Gardere joined Smith, Stohlman, James & Gardere, P.A. in January of 2007 and is now a shareholder in the firm. He currently works in the business valuation and litigation service department where he specializes in high-net-worth marital dissolution, fraud examination, economic damage, business valuation and other complex forensic accounting engagements. Keith has testified as an expert witness in Florida courts.

Keith also has experience preparing Federal and State income tax returns for all businesses and personal entities, including individuals, estates, trusts, partnerships and corporations. In addition, Keith has worked on various assurance engagements including audits, reviews and compilations of business and personal financial statements.

Keith earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from the University of South Florida, along with taking additional masters level courses at both the University of South Florida and Florida Atlantic University. Keith is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and is also Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He is a current member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FICPA) and the AICPA Forensic and Valuation Services Section (FVS).

Keith currently serves as treasurer for the Palm Beach Gardens Police and Fire Rescue Foundation and sits on the banquet committee for the Coastal Conservation Association – North Palm Beach Chapter (CCA).
