John Blue joined Smith, Stohlman, James & Gardere, P.A. in May of 2025.

He currently works in the litigation service department. John is a seasoned forensic accounting professional with specialized experience in financial fraud investigation, marital dissolution, economic damage, business valuation, litigation support, and other complex forensic engagements.

He has assisted a wide range of clients – including high-net worth individuals, small businesses, corporations, and legal counsel – through detailed financial analysis and strategic investigative support.

John holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting and a Master of Business Administration with a focus in Financial Fraud Examination and Management, both from Saint Xavier University in Chicago, IL. Additionally, he earned a Master of Studies in Law from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law, further enhancing his expertise at the intersection of forensic accounting and legal proceedings.

Certified as a Fraud Examiner (CFE), John brings a comprehensive skill set that consistently delivers high-value insights and actionable findings to help guide our clients through the complexities of forensic financial matters.
