Plamena joint the Tax Department at Smith, Stohlman, James & Gardere, P.A. in 2023.

She works with a variety of clients, preparing individual and business tax returns, trust and estate returns, GAAP financial statements, bookkeeping, payroll, and sales tax.

She also helps clients work through issues with the Internal Revenue Service and represents them when needed.

Plamena holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Economics-Varna in Bulgaria and a Master of Accounting from the Florida Atlantic University.

As an IRS-licensed Enrolled Agent, she stays up to date with the latest tax laws and regulations through continuing education.

Outside of work, Plamena enjoys traveling, growing tropical fruits, and baking what many agree is the best sourdough in Jupiter, FL.
