Kenneth S. Kearns, CPA, CVA first interned at Smith, Stohlman, James & Gardere P.A. in Summer 2006 and later rejoined the firm full-time in September 2019. He currently works in the business valuation and litigation service department where he specializes in high-net-worth marital dissolution, fraud examination, economic damage, business valuation and other complex forensic accounting engagements.

Prior to joining the firm, Kenneth was a senior auditor / accountant at a large regional public accounting firm, where he gained experience on various assurance engagements including audits, reviews and compilations of the financial statements for both for-profit and non-profit entities. With his experience being largely concentrated in the construction, manufacturing, and private club industries. He also has experience in fund and property accounting from his work at a large private equity firm located in Palm Beach, FL.

Kenneth holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from the University of Central Florida, a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from the Florida International University, and a Master in Accounting from the Florida Atlantic University.

Kenneth is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) by the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts. He is a current member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts (NACVA).

Kenneth was born and raised in Palm Beach Gardens, FL, and currently resides in Jupiter, FL.
